Initial Production Check (IPC) is conducted before mass production begins to assess the quality of raw materials, components, and manufacturing readiness. During Production Inspection (DPI) is performed while production is underway, typically when 20% to 80% of the order has been completed. This inspection helps identify quality issues early, allowing manufacturers to implement corrective actions before production is finalized and shipped.
Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) is conducted when most of the order has been completed and packaged. Pre Shipment Inspection occurs when at least 80% of the products are manufactured and packaged.
